The 5Growth service platform aims to empower vertical industries with an AI-driven automated 5G end-to-end slicing solution to help them achieve their service requirements. This article details multiple vertical pilots (including Industry 4.0, transportation, and energy), identifies the crucial 5G requirements for these sectors, and analyzes the existing technical and functional gaps compared to current solutions. To address these identified gaps, the paper proposes several innovations: Support for 3GPP-based RAN slices through a RAN slicing model and automated RAN orchestration and control; an AI-driven closed-loop for automated service management, ensuring service level agreement assurance; and multi-domain solutions that expand service offerings by aggregating services and resources from different provider domains, and enable the integration of private 5G networks with public networks.
