Abstract
This paper describes an evaluation of a hierarchical resource management framework designed for multi-domain wireless/optical networks, aiming to reduce network costs and fulfill 5G requirements by integrating transport networks (fronthaul/backhaul) with heterogeneous technologies that require end-to-end orchestration. The evaluation covers the end-to-end behavior related to service setup, examining each network segment and layer within the control hierarchy.
